Why is moving with cardboard finished?
Every year, thousands of tonnes of cardboard go to waste after a single use. It tears under weight, soaks up damp, will not stack properly, and in the end you have paid for something you throw away. Rent A Crate rental crates change the terms:
Each crate replaces up to 450 cardboard boxes over its working life. That means less material in landfill, fewer trees cut, and less water and energy spent making them.

The 450 boxes are a scenario for the crate’s whole life, not counted savings or an average of real results. The calculation is about box-volume equivalence; it does not measure a carbon footprint, which depends on washing, transport and energy. We record the actual uses of every crate in the traceability registry.

Working life: operators in this industry quote up to 400–500 uses per crate. On that assumption, the scenario of about 344 uses gives about 450 equivalent boxes. It is not a guarantee that every crate will reach that total.
Trees: the estimate of 150 boxes per tree is a separate assumption. Volume equivalence and this assumption are not an environmental footprint study.
